Traffic Dashboard Review: structured guide to traffic generation

Marlon Sanders has just released his Traffic Dashboard
which gives you 16 ways to generate traffic to your
website, blog or Squidoo lens.

The rows in the Dashboard represent 6 broad traffic
sources:
  • article marketing
  • search engine optimization
  • social media marketing
  • banner ad marketing
  • email marketing (incl. solo ads)
  • affiliate marketing (for your own product)
I purchased the system after very strong support
for the product in the Warrior's Forum.

The whole system is designed as a point-and-click
access point with each icon representing a source
of traffic or another step in an already introduced
traffic source.

For example, the first row of the dashboard discusses
article marketing. Each of the icons in this row
provide a stage in the process in the form of
detailed step-by-step instructions. Icons cover
keyword research, writing the article, the resource
box, landing page, submission and editing and
outsourcing. Each stage is illustrated with
screen shots and examples.

The social media row of Traffic Dashboard is
different in terms of the level of detail provided.
This row, for example, covers Facebook Ads,
YouTube, Video Sites, Squidoo Lenses,
The Epiphany and Images. ["The Epiphany"
is Marlon's personal insight into how to really
generate traffic.]

Thus the level of detail for social networking
in the social media row is a long way from the depth
and comprehensiveness of my SquidooRoo Program.

However, Marlon does provide an easy entry point
for someone who is not used to using some of these
aspects.

There is something in Traffic Dashboard for both the
newbie and the advanced.  I know I certainly learned
some things on my first run through.

Strengths of Traffic Dashboard
  • range of areas covered
  • step-by-step process
  • very well illustrated
  • motivational (encourages you to "have a go")
  • builds confidence as you master each step
  • strong support for newbies
  • introduces some new approaches to generating traffic
  • "The Epiphany" - worth the cost of the product.
 Weaknesses of Traffic Dashboard
  • product tries to cover both newbies and advanced
  • some areas (such as social media) are not comprehensive
  • the depth across topics varies considerably
  • the Squidoo instructions are inadequate
I mention the last point specifically in the light of the
Google Algorith Change and Squidoo's response.
Squidoo is now putting a lot more emphasis on
original content and lenses that lack original content
(that were tolerated before) will now be locked.
Traffic Dashboard does not make this point
clear.

Despite some of it's limitations, Traffic Dashboard has
some real merits.  If you are a relative newbie, or at the
intermediate level of Internet marketing, it has a lot
to offer through its systematic approach and
step-by-step instructions.  More advanced Internet
marketers may find that they are already doing
60% of what is covered (and more besides).
However, there is very real value in "The
Epithany" which shows you how to leverage your
content creation.

Check out this product - it may be just what you
need to introduce some system and discipline to
your marketing efforts:

Internet Marketing Training: 30 Day Challenge Plus (30DC+) Review

/

Over the past couple of months I have participated in the
30 Day Challenge Plus Internet marketing training.

There is no doubt about it, but this is certainly leading edge
stuff.  You actually get to look over the shoulder of the Master
Marketer, Ed Dale, as he creates and markets original content.

Ed Dale not only takes you into his office and his car,
he also takes you into his mind.  He explains what he
does, how he does it and why.

Best of all he illustrates everything with video, clarifies with
podcasts and provides PDF transcripts of everything.

I thought I knew a lot about Internet marketing before I
started this program.  However, as it's leading edge
I have been able to learn heaps.  The beauty of it is
that Ed shares with you what he discovers in Internet
marketing as it occurs.

He focuses strongly on participants taking action steps so
that what you learn you put into action straight away.
For example, he has set up a special Flickr group for
30DC+ members to put into practise his hints on producing
and distributing great photos (Ed is a passionate photographer
as well).

The essence of the 30DC+ approach is the creation of original
content and its distribution in the marketplace.  He shows you
how you can use your everyday tools and actions (inputs) to
create quality content for social media marketing (outputs).

Ed has consciously created a community through his 30DC+
forum which enables members to share their experiences
and ask questions.

The 30 Day Challenge Plus program certainly encourages
you to be the best marketer you can be.  There is plenty
of opportunity to stretch yourself and learn, and heaps of
encouragement along the way.

Each month, Ed introduces a new theme and provides
demonstration videos, podcasts, transcripts, Q & A
webinars and an interview around the theme.

I strongly recommend this program - there are more than
12 months of resources and ideas available if you access
the program now.

FREE Internet Marketing Tools - ISOR

ISOR has been operating online since 1999
and has helped thousands of internet marketers
grow their business.

I first came across ISOR in 2003 and have
been a paid member since October 2006.

ISORegister offers FREE professional
internet
marketing tools
, all available
under one roof.

Here are some of the FREE internet marketing tools:

Autoresponder
Ad and Link Tracker
URL Rotator
Lead-Capture webpage creator
Search Engine Submission Service
Online conference system
Smart Page to manage your online professional and
personal activities
And so much more...

These tools are backed by twice weekly training
sessions
in the online conference room. The
conference training covers not only how to use the
tools but also the best strategies and approaches for
internet marketing.

There are additional online conference rooms run by
experienced internet marketers that can help you
with any facet of Internet Marketing.

The support from ISOR is second to none.
ISOR President, Darryl Graham, participates
in the online training and is available by phone or email
to answer questions. I have found Darryl very generous
with his time, resources and support. He has a genuine
interest in helping you advance YOUR business.

Darryl spends his own funds on different forms of
advertising and provides a free evaluation of each source
of advertising he uses. He advises on what is effective and
professional and identifies advertising services that are
questionable (this free service saves you time, money
and angst).

What I like is the spirit of the online community that
gathers for the online training conferences - people are
keen to help each other out and offer suggestions.

I also appreciate access to the half-priced advertising
that ISOR offers. I use this to supplement free sources
for promoting my Squidoo lenses.

I can't speak highly enough of ISOR and Darryl Graham
and his training team. ISOR is an integral part of my
Squidoo marketing approach and has provided me with a
very sound foundation for my online business.
