Squidoo Marketing Strategies: generate Technorati tags

Wikipedia describes Technorati as "an Internet search engine
for searching blogs, competing with Google, Yahoo and
IceRocket".

Tagging is a way of associating keywords with information
- text, videos, pictures, etc. It is very much linked to the
emergence of Web 2 technology such as Squidoo, Flickr and
YouTube.

By creating Technorati tags in your blog posts and your
Squidoo lens, you are:

1. creating a backlink to a highly ranked site (Google has given
Technorati a ranking of 7)
2. generating traffic from Technorati (via the tags)
3. improving the Google ranking of your blog/Squidoo lens.

If you want to know more about Technorati tags visit the link
below:
http://support.technorati.com/support/siteguide/tags

Here is a great tool that will generate the html
for your Technorati tags. All you do is specify the
tags and the site will generate the html for you:

This site will also generate tags for other bookmarking
sites such as Digg, Del.icio.us, Yahoo, BlinkList, Spurl,
Reddit and Furl.

The Technorati tags below were generated with this tool.

Squidoo Marketing Strategies: Create a lens ring with Squidoo's Lensroll

The Lensroll facility created by Squidoo enables you
to link other lenses to your own lens.

Here are the steps:
a. log into your own lens
b. find a lens of interest (use the search box at the
top, if necessary)
c. click the Lensroll button in the save and share box
on the right
d. use the drop down menu to choose the lens to receive
the link
e. click the continue button.

You should start this process by linking your own lenses
first (if you have more than one lens). In this way you
create a lens ring by linking your Squidoo
lenses to each other.

Squidoo has its own protocol for ranking lenses and it
is different to that of Google and other search engines.
For example, Squidoo rewards external links and links to
other Squidoo sites that are related to your lens theme.
Squidoo rewards you for actions you take that help build
the Squidoo community.

Squidoo Takes The World By Storm

Squidoo is a new Web 2.0 technology developed by leading
internet marketer and blogger, Seth Godin.

It combines the best of MySpace, Flickr and YouTube
and builds on these technologies. It is being touted as the
nextYouTube.

Seth Godin developed Squidoo to overcome the problem
of the poor quality results that frequently occur with
searches in major search engines. Squidoo is designed
by an internet marketer for internet marketers.

Squidoo lenses are very easy to develop and you can develop
a lens (in-depth, focused web page) on any topic. You can
have as many lenses as you like.

Squidoo started in October 2005 and now has over 100,000
lenses and Squidoo.com has a Google ranking of 7. Its
Alexa ranking was 693 on 26 March 2007 (up 378 places
in 3 months).

Leading internet marketers like Joel Comm have recognised
the value of Squidoo by creating their own Squidoo lenses.

Squidoo provides income and traffic:

* Squidoo returns 50% of the direct revenue from your
lenses (revenue from Adsense, eBay, Amazon.com, etc.)
* you can earn from referring others
* you can promote your own products/services/affiliate
programs on your lenses
* backlinks from Squidoo to your own website/blog
will increase your Google ranking
* Squidoo itself is a search engine and generates traffic
to your lens based on your lens ranking
* Google appears to value Squidoo lenses even more highly
than blogs (people are reporting rapid top ten listings of
their Squidoo lenses)
* you can establish yourself as an expert in an area very
quickly.

You can join Squidoo and set up your lens here:

Autopilot Profits Review - Buyer Be Aware

Put ClickBank on Autopilot
Build Your Own Automatic
Money Machine Starting Right Now!
affiliatecashsecrets.com

_______________________________________

I have just purchased and read Ewen Chia's new 59 page
Autopilot Profits ebook.

My first comment is that this ebook is not for the
intermediate or experienced affiliate marketer

unless you want to sell the product for the 75% commission
that Ewen is offering on the sale of his ebook PLUS a share
of the OTO (One Time Offer) income.

Derrick VanDyke offers a better auto-marketing system for
ClickBank products for the experienced/intermediate marketer.
Both the system, Affiliate Cash Secrets, and his
service is top class:
http://affiliatecashsecrets.com/?30173

Autopilot Profits is aimed at the newbie affiliate marketer
and is a very good resource for this group. It covers the basics
of affiliate marketing, ClickBank and Adwords marketing and
provides sound advice re generating traffic.

However, the autopilot system on offer is Ewen's own ebook
- Autopilot Profits. Don't get me wrong, there are very few
ClickBank authors who can match Ewen in terms of the level of
affiliate resources he provides to those who promote his products.

In addition to a wide range of affiliate resources on his site, Ewen
provides:

* Brad Callen's 85 page eBook on Adwords Made Easy
* a comprehensive list of relevant keywords for marketing on
Adwords

So for the newbie, Autopilot Profits provides:
* a high conversion product for a "hungry market"
* step-by-step coaching on a affiliate marketing
* a generous affiliate commission (75%)

For the experienced/intermediate marketer,
Autopilot Profits provides you with access to Brad's Adword's
ebook, some useful hints/resources and a product that you
can earn 75% commission on.

Squidoo - Niche marketer's dream

Squidoo is a social bookmarking site that combines the very
best of MySpace , YouTube and Flickr.

It's also fun and you can earn an income from your free
Squidoo lens (website):
http://www.squidoo.com/lensmaster/referral/ronpass

You can build a Squidoo lens on any topic (or any affiliate
program) and use your lens to attract traffic to your
website or blog.

You build your Squidoo lens using an easy "point-and-click"
modular set-up. You can add as many modules as you like.
For example, you can add a YouTube module to upload
videos related to your topic.

Unlike MySpace, Squidoo welcomes marketing lenses as the
originator is himself a leading internet marketer, Seth Godin.

Squidoo attracts advertising revenue via Google AdSense and
other advertising on your lens (e.g. via the Amazon.com., Ebay
and CafePress modules). Squidoo shares its revenue - with
you and with charities. You can in turn opt to share some of your
Squidoo revenue with one of the charities supported by Squidoo.

You can join up here:

Here's my latest lens covering my favourite hobby:
